Short Mobility, as provided by the Erasmus+ 2021-2027 program, are short-term mobility programs that allow participants to undertake an experience combining a brief physical mobility abroad (from 5 to 30 consecutive days) with a mandatory virtual component.
Short Mobility consists of two types of mobility, both of which are mandatory for participation and for the recognition of the activity:
- Virtual mobility, which allows participants to connect online with teachers and students from the participating institutions through a training program designed to achieve specific learning outcomes. This is a compulsory activity to be carried out from Italy, complementary to the physical mobility, and does not include any financial grant.
- Short-term physical mobility, which includes the provision of specific financial grants for the duration of the activities carried out in person.
