The University of Trieste promotes the internationalization of teaching through integrated study programs developed in collaboration with foreign partner universities. These programs require students to complete part of their curriculum abroad, according to study plans defined by individual agreements.
At the end of the program, selected students obtain an international academic qualification which, depending on the type of agreement, may be:
- Double Degree: the awarding of two separate national diplomas by the institutions involved;
- Joint Degree: the awarding of a single diploma signed jointly by the partner universities in the program
